We believe our hope, joy, peace, and purpose are found in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. (1 Corinthians 8:6) As a community of believers in Christ, we worship Him. As a neighbor, locally, nationally, and internationally we seek opportunities to share this with all people so they may know His unfailing, perfect love is available to them, just as they are. This drives our purpose as FBC Garner to know Christ and to make Him known to all people.
We believe there is one and only one true living God. To Him we owe the highest love, reverence and obedience.
We believe Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Only through a relationship with Him do we find true salvation.
We believe Jesus’ sole purpose in this world was and is to save it. This means as His followers our purpose is to mirror His love through giving to others, serving each other as well as our neighbors, and reaching people near and far with His perfect story.
Our church body has adopted The 2000 Baptist Faith and Message as the governing doctrine of our faith and the basis for our scriptural beliefs.
